Pack a picnic lunch and beach umbrella, and prepare to celebrate the summer solstice with six hours of continuous music at the first annual Fête de la Musique at East Beach! The festival, is free and open to the public. Fête de la Musique, a homophone of the slogan faites de la musique ("make music") features rock, jazz, blues, folk, classical, Cajun, a barbershop quartet, and our Chapitre de Grasse chorus leading the crowd in French songs.The Fête also includes art and musical events for children, storytelling, and a pétanque tournament for those who can not resist an opportunity to try this classical French game of boules. Food vendors, including Williamsburg Winery, provide refreshment.

Parking is free.
