Operations of Golf Carts and/or Utility Vehicles on Virginia Public Roads/Streets

Some of our residents have observed young persons operating golf carts within our community. Such operations can create unsafe situations for our residents and/or community visitors.

Virginia has strict rules for operating golf carts and utility vehicles on public roads/streets, e.g., Virginia Code clearly states that all operators of golf carts and utility vehicles on public roads/streets must have a valid drivers license in their possession.

If you have a golf cart and/or utility vehicle, please make sure it’s being operated IAW Virginia and Norfolk codes.
