Everyone is cordially invited to the EOV Civic League meeting this Thursday evening at the EOV Recreation Center on 20th Bay Street (where we vote). Meetings begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. and will conclude by 8:30 p.m. Our special guest speaker will be Mr. Jim McDonnell, Candidate for Norfolk City Treasurer. Ms. Maravia Reid, Community Outreach Coordinator, Norfolk Police Dept., will also be there to mention the nominations process for the 2013 Crime Prevention Awards; as well as Mr. Harry Bennett, Norfolk Department of Public Health, to talk about a couple community health issues.
