INFORMATION CONTAINED WITHIN THE SUMMARY OF THE MARCH 24TH MAYOR’S OCEAN VIEW TASK FORCE MEETING IS UPDATED AS FOLLOWS:
New Apartment Complexes in East Ocean View: Two new apartment complexes are on the books for East Ocean View — both on Pretty Lake Avenue. The first complex, scheduled to begin soon, will be on the land that’s located south of Pretty Lake Ave and between the entrance to Bay Point and the boat dry storage facility — right across Pretty Lake Ave from 29th Bay St and will consist of 136 apartment units. The second complex will be across the street from the East Beach Villas and include the area of the Blue Crab and will consist of 231 apartment units. These two complexes will definitely impact travel on Pretty Lake Avenue.
Note: Updates on location and projected number of units within these two complexes were provided to the East Beach Community during a very short notice meeting on Monday evening, March 28th.
