Neighborhood Watch — Alert Residents Save Dog
While walking their pets in our community, two residents noticed a large dog that had somehow got through an upstairs window and was on the porch roof. Their actions and those of a friendly neighbor with a ladder who managed to get the dog back into the house and secure the window are a prime example of neighbors looking out for neighbors. These actions deserve a “WELL DONE” and potentially saved the life of a resident’s pet.

East Beach Homearama Info and Traffic Impacts
The Fall Homearama @ East Beach will run from October 13th to October 28th with a special viewing on October 12th. During this time you can expect increased traffic throughout the area including visitors driving through our community. But most importantly, there will be some East Beach street closures that will impact you:
- East Beach Drive will be closed between 23rd Bay and 24th Bay for at least the month of October.
- Pleasant Avenue will be closed between Shore Drive and 24th Bay every weekend during the homearama (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday) — additional weekday closures of Pleasant Ave maybe required due to congestion from homearama attendees.
Given the two street closures above, plan on using Pretty Lake Ave for your Shore Drive entrances and exits into our area.

Volunteer Some Time To Your Community
Do you have a few hours a week/month that you could volunteer to help your community? Our community could use expertise in the following areas: community relations; government liaison; neighborhood watch; architectural review; and other community duties (e.g., volunteers to fill HOA positions). Please contact our HOA management company (The Property Shoppe) with any questions and your interest to volunteer some time to our community.

Community Neighborhood Watch Update
Our community is revitalizing its Neighborhood Watch (NW) Program. To be effective, a NW program needs to be able to pass time sensitive/security information to all current occupants of the community. To accomplish this, our program will need to update our community records with a current listing of occupants along with their primary contact information (phone and email). Our Block Captain volunteers will be visiting all Bay Breeze Point (BBP) homes to: pass out some vital NW information; introduce themselves as NW Block Captains; and obtain updated occupant and contact information. (FYI: A listing of BBP NW blocks and assigned block captains can be found in the NW section of this website.)
Please help our community out with this NW effort and remember that the key to a successful NW program involves participation by each and every community member.
