Bay Breeze Point HOA had to replace an old encroachment agreement/easement with the City of Norfolk which had not been properly and timely transferred to the HOA. HOA representatives, along with HOA legal counsel, worked with the City to finalize a new encroachment agreement that covers the entrance area to Bay Breeze Point. A copy of this agreement is located within the Rules & Regulations section of this website.

There will be an important Wetlands Board Meeting on April 11th regarding East Beach Harbor developments planned for parcels of land south of Pretty Lake Ave.
East Beach HOA representatives have met with their legal team and will have specific talking points to cover, so other HOA attendees will not have to speak.
However, the Wetlands Board does respond to presence and numbers, so the more people we have attending the meeting, the more weight our message will be given — you’re invited to attend.
A background paper and report on the proposed development is attached. For those interested in attending the Wetlands Board meeting, it will be held at 1 pm on the 11th floor of City Hall. Again, the date is Wednesday, April 11th.

parking of recreational vehicles — RV’s, boats and jet ski’s can not be parked in residential areas unless that are in the rear yard, 5 ft behind the property line;
inoperable or junk vehicles — a vehicle is deemed inoperable or abandoned depending on its location and circumstances – if its missing an inspection sticker, a valid license plate or is obviously wrecked or inoperable, the ONLY place to store vehicles or these types is in a fully enclosed structure; or
tall weeds and grass — the property owner is responsible for the front, side, and rear of property including the area between the sidewalk and curb?

The Navy will be exercising its security procedures and forces during the week of March 19-24, 2012. During this time, expect minor disruptions and delays along with increased traffic around naval facilities (see attached Navy letter).
