Update on Pubic Beach Accessway Replacement

Just received the following update from Norfolk: “We have awarded a contract for rehabilitation of the beach access to East West Construction, the same contractor who constructed the beach access at 9th Bay St. They will begin construction in early January, after the holidays, and should be complete sometime in early June. We will be working with the contractor and with the City’s Bureau of Environmental Services to find a way to provide beach access to the residents in the area during construction. It will be a very tight site during construction, and we are going to have to work out some logistics.”

2021 Annual HOA Meeting Announcement

City of Norfolk “Utilities Consumer Alert”

The Norfolk Department of Utilities has received reports of people going door-to-door and speaking to civic organizations, offering water filtration services. Residents have called Norfolk Utilities asking if these salespersons are associated with the City. They are not City employees, nor are they associated with the City of Norfolk. If an individual visits your home, and you choose to engage, please ask to see identification. If anything seems suspicious, contact the police department. If you are experiencing any issues with your water, please contact the Norfolk Utilities at (757) 664-6700 or utwainq@norfolk.gov
